Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This weeks blog post is all about having a good attitude, which leads to gratitude. I hope you can take a few minutes out of your day to read and reflect on the good aspects of your life, especially on a day like today!

As We Know, This Year is Different

First of all, by recognizing those people that support you in everyday life, you can easily practice gratitude. One way to make those family members who you may not see everyday (and are not visiting with this Thanksgiving) feel special is by giving them a quick phone call. Your words can go a long way, and it is always important to make those people who support us from a far feel loved and valued.

Write ‘Em Down

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, write down or visualize 3 things you are grateful for each day. These three things can be as little or as big as you’d like, but by openly acknowledging the good things in your life your attitude and outlook on life is bound to improve.

Write down 3 things you are grateful for each day.

Practice Patience

As we prepare to for the holidays this year, remember this year has been a trying time for everyone. You may begin to do school/work from home surrounded by your other family members, which can inevitably cause tension in the house. By putting things in perspective and being patient with those around you the holidays, and, frankly everyday, will be more pleasant for everyone in your family.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post! Make sure to stay safe and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Check out my last blog post, 2020 gift guide for “giftspo” and stay tuned for my BLACK FRIDAY blog post coming tomorrow!

Stay Smiling,
